How did you end up at UZIN UTZ and what is your current role?

I started as a trainee chemical engineer at UZIN UTZ in 2016. I did well enough to reduce my training period to 3 years and I completed my training in July 2019. I was then taken on as a quality tester in the research and development department. My main tasks include inspecting incoming raw materials and checking the quality standards and specifications for our products.

Is there a particular experience at UZIN UTZ that you would like to share?

There have been a lot of things already, but I would like to highlight in particular the two-week stay abroad at our subsidiary in Haaksbergen in the Netherlands. I also won “Top Trainee 2019” from the Baden-Wuerttemberg branch of the German Chemical Industry Association and received the award at the Europapark.
