To continuously improve our appeal as an employer, we regularly analyze employee feedback - such as from employee surveys, cultural analyses, applicant feedback, and platforms like kununu. Based on this, we develop targeted measures for better working conditions, modern leadership, and strong collaboration across countries and companies. The results and progress are evaluated at the management level and integrated into the further development of our employer brand, so that “Let’s Grow Together” can be tangibly experienced in everyday work. With a recommendation rate of 89%, UZIN UTZ is well above the usual benchmarks and is thus considered one of the most attractive employers.
Socially Responsible
Company
As a family-owned company, we place great importance on supporting the work of local, non-profit initiatives in the areas of culture, sports, education, environmental protection, and social engagement. In recent years, we have sponsored various social projects across the Uzin Utz Group. Since 2017, for example, we have supported the « Grünfinder project » annually with a donation of 5,000 euros. The nature education concept aims to provide children from socially disadvantaged families with a basic understanding of nature and the environment. In 2025, instead of sending Christmas gifts to customers and business partners, Uzin Utz Tools supported the Burgholz Children’s Hospice with a donation of 6,000 euros.

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT
Employee engagement - for employees and by employees - is an integral part of our corporate culture. Only those who feel valued can contribute with motivation and conviction over the long term. As a special thank-you for the shared successes of the past strategic cycle and as a symbolic kickoff for the new “Grow Bigger” strategy, the Suitcase Campaign took place in 2025, during which all employees across the Group received a branded UZIN UTZ suitcase. At the Ulm site, for example, our Family Day is an important component: On this day, we open our company to family members and give them a chance to experience our work environment. In this way, we strengthen the sense of community far beyond the workplace. At the same time, it is important to us that commitment does not end at the factory gates. Many of our employees actively contribute to society - for example, through litter cleanup campaigns, which help us contribute to a clean environment. Another example is our collection of in-kind donations for the Ulm Animal Shelter, which demonstrates how deeply social awareness is rooted in our workforce.
